Dialogue is the name of our game
Pipeline Biotech is different from other contract
research organisations, primarily because of the way we are
organised and the way we work. Unlike other contract researchers we
do not offer our know-how as a set of pre-defined services. We
listen to our clients, and we study their vision. We then convert
their fundamental ideas into procedures and targeted studies – and
we insist on maintaining close person-to-person contact throughout
the entire process.
As we are always on the look-out for new
know-how, we keep an open line of communication to the University of
Aarhus as well as to other institutions of higher learning.
Expert
angles of approach
At Pipeline Biotech, a highly qualified
professional workforce representing a range of related professional
areas is at your service. In vivo pharmacologists, veterinarians,
molecular biologists, pharmaceutical chemists and experienced
laboratory technicians ensure full professionalism in the
performance and reporting of all assignments.
Teamwork
The everyday business of Pipeline Biotech is a
result of combined efforts. We are all working towards the same
goal, and we are well aware that the employees make the company. In
contrast to large organisations where decisions are typically made
by managers and then handed down to the subordinate levels, we
prefer to operate with short lines of communications – and to allow
information to flow both ways.
Personal and professional dedication
We fully commit ourselves to the jobs we take on.
Once an assignment has been described and the approach defined, a
tailor-made research programme is drawn up to match requirements, a
schedule is agreed upon and a working team is set up to cover the
intricate demands of the project. At every stage and in all areas,
we always make sure to keep an open mind so that we can accommodate
any alterations and improvements that may evolve along the way. What
matters most is understanding the client’s goal. The methods that
are subsequently applied – however important they may be – are
“merely” the working tools of our profession.

The lab facilities at Pipeline Biotech are both very secure and very
advanced. We provide a range of different barrier protection levels
for your lab animals – such as gnotobiotic isolator units and
laminar flow barrier units. Whatever special lab animal model you
may require, we can meet your requirements and ensure that the
animals are appropriately housed.
Respect, authority and responsibility
Every one member of the team is actively involved
in the process as a whole and therefore shares responsibility for
the final result. All Pipeline Biotech employees are authorised to
suggest alterations, initiate new methods and make decisions along
the way – within the limits of their professional expertise, of
course. As a matter of fact, it is expected of them. Innovative
science and research rely on the co-ordination of knowledge, ideas
and initiative, and the ability to take a stand
– professionally and personally – is thus a
prerequisite of all Pipeline Biotech employees. This approach keeps
our environment alive, provides new openings and brings about new
knowledge
– which, in our opinion, is precisely what
proactive and empathic research/science is all about.
Attitudes and responsiveness before rules
Whereas rules tend to lead to rigidity and
stagnation within an organisation, mutually respected attitudes
inspire responsiveness and active participation. This is how we
interpret the idea of “adaptable business” in practice – a way of
doing business that lives up to present-day demands for flexibility,
service and information exchange. By maintaining close
person-to-person communication, we at Pipeline Biotech remain in
constant dialogue with our clients and concentrate our commitment to
the task at hand. As it is impossible to know what tomorrow might
bring, we consider it essential to ensure that our organisation is
always open-minded, flexible and fully prepared for both change and
action. This is how we can be sure that we will be able to deal with
the demands of the future – and to continue to expand our knowledge
and develop our organisation in step with the new challenges.
Commitment, flexibility, responsiveness and short
response times are non-negotiable key words in a changing world.
